Robin F. Zwerling

Ms. Zwerling, a co-founding partner of Zwerling Schachter, has been a litigator for over thirty years. Prior to 1985, Ms. Zwerling was a partner of Martin Clearwater & Bell, LLP where she tried dozens of cases to verdict in both state and federal court. She successfully completed the National Institute of Trial Advocacy’s Advanced Trial Practice course after having tried a number of cases.
Ms. Zwerling has extensive experience in all phases of class action litigation, including trials and appellate arguments. She has been and is lead counsel or a member of an executive committee in many complex cases, including: McCoy, et al. v. Cullum & Burks Securities, Inc., et al., C.D. Cal., Civ. No. 8:09-CV-01084-DOC (RNBx); Vonage Initial Public Offering (IPO) Securities Litigation, Civ. No. 07-177 (FLW) (D.N.J.); and, In re: Old Banc One Shareholders Securities Litigation, N.D. Ill., Civ. No. 00C2100. McCoy involves a series of alleged private offerings of notes by brokers across the country which were to be secured by health care receivables, but went into default.
Ms. Zwerling is an active member of the Second Circuit Federal Bar Council. She had been co-chair of the Membership Committee and now is a member of the Program Committee. As a member of that committee, Ms. Zwerling plans and coordinates Continuing Legal Education programs, such as Securities Litigation: Primary Liability for Secondary Actors.
